Chain Rules is a tile-matching puzzle game developed by Upstream Partners LLC. Your privacy matters to us, so we keep things simple: we collect as little data as possible.
Chain Rules stores your game preferences (difficulty, mute setting) and high scores locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Chain Rules displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may collect and process data including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general usage data to serve ads and measure ad performance. Google may use this information to show you personalized ads, subject to your consent choices. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps for details.
When required by law (e.g., in the European Economic Area), Chain Rules will ask for your consent before serving personalized ads. You can change your ad preferences at any time through the consent options in the app.
Chain Rules uses Firebase Analytics to understand how players interact with the game. This collects anonymous usage data such as game starts, round completions, mode selections, and modifier choices. No personal information is collected. Firebase may also collect device identifiers, app instance IDs, and general device information. See Firebase's privacy information for details.
Chain Rules loads the Nunito font from Google Fonts. Google may collect standard web request data (IP address, browser type) when serving the font. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Chain Rules does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
